May 6, 2010 - Education Revolution!
Join the education revolution! The Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University will present Moving in the Spirit’s ER: Education Revolution on May 6, 2010 at 7pm.
Set to the beloved tunes of School House Rock, ER: Education Revolution is a vibrant dance event that journeys through the history of education and celebrates the many ways we learn. This lively performance features Moving in the Spirit students and professional dancers, along with acclaimed literary and visual artists. Renowned poet Alice Lovelace will weave spirited text throughout the show, while prominent artist Sal Brownfield creates a magnificent painting live onstage.
With such School House Rock favorites as "Conjunction Junction," "I'm Just a Bill," and "Interjections," Education Revolution will have your whole family dancing in their seats!
ER: Education Revolution will be held at 7pm on May6, 2010 at the Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University, located at 80 Forsyth Street NW Atlanta, GA. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 13, and may be purchased at the door on the night of the event. Children under the age of 3 can attend the performance free of charge.
